About this tracker

Positions, wind speeds and pressures come from the US National Hurricane Center, which issues a full advisory for each active storm every six hours, plus intermediate advisories when a storm approaches land. This page follows that cadence — it is as current as the last advisory, not a second-by-second feed.

NHC covers the Atlantic and the eastern and central Pacific. Typhoons in the western Pacific and cyclones in the Indian Ocean fall to other agencies and are not listed here. For warnings, evacuation orders and safety information, always follow your local emergency management agency.
